FOTS were able to squeeze in a double header before it got dark at Baybrook's field on Monday night. The Webster games were rained out due to the heavy rains on Sunday and that field's poor drainage. FOTS had to face a formidable opponent in League City Church of Christ. It did not go well.

Beside the fact that they were scrambling for players just to get enough to field a team, once they did get enough guys, they could not get their bats going in either game. The first game they only scored 4 and the second game they only scored 1. Needless to say, it was two losses for FOTS.

The schedule will change to accommodate the rain outs. We'll keep everyone posted via emails and texts as well as update the schedule page.

For the first time in recent memory, FBCF is able to field two teams for a third season in one year, so once again the Goodfellas and Fellowship of the Swing (FOTS) will be in action trying finish the year strong.

FOTS had the "sun in your eyes" game at 6:30 at the Webster field vs. Baybrook Baptist. It was a close game until the last inning when Baybrook broke it open to end up winning 14-8.

Goodfellas kicked off their season at the Baybrook field vs. Clear Lake Baptist. Clear Lake jumped out with 10 runs in the second inning to take a huge lead but Goodfellas were able to hold them to only 1 run the rest of the game as they slowly chipped away at the lead and ended up winning 13-11.

Next up, FOTS played Clear Lake in a low scoring affair. The defense was great in holding Clear Lake to only 1 run even though FOTS could only muster 6. It was enough for the victory to at least come out of week 1 at .500.

Goodfellas finished the evening against League City Church of Christ. It was a miserable finish. Goodfellas could only muster 4 runs as LCCC trounced them 16-4.

The Goodfellas won the league Monday night as League City Church of Christ failed to field a team and ceded the victory to the 'Fellas. With an 8-2-2 record, the Goodfellas fended off Baybrook Baptist who finished with an 8-4 record. FOTS came in 3rd at 6-5-1 narrowly edging Clear Lake Baptist who ended the season a respectable 6-6. Congrats Goodfellas!
